This is the season for family and friends; for good food, good company, love, comfort, and togetherness. Unfortunately, many this year will not be able to gather owing to disasters such as severe storms, fires, that massive chemical explosion in Texas, to name a few or because distance, finances, or deployment overseas in our forces prevent them.

For all who read these words, I hope your holiday is what you wanted it to be. If not, please allow me to wish you better holidays to come. If my few lines above please you, leave a “like” and consider yourself given a plate loaded with all of your favorite foods – or leave a comment and imagine yourself joining the discussion around the dinner table. On behalf of all posters at The Peaceful Pub, we bid you welcome with a handshake, a hug, and perhaps even a kiss on the cheek if you prefer.

Peace
Michael

P.S. If you have not already read them, please refer to the “Recent Posts” on the right-hand side and check out “A Canopy of Gold”, “fall haiku”, “Idea Man”, and “Selkie Weather”. These are the latest posts by three of our most frequent posters. Since I was out for a while (you can see why in my profile), they have been part of this blog for longer than I have. I always read and comment on anything they post, and I hope you will too.
