Autumn’s Winds

Leaves like fans in a stadium
rise and fall clapping wildly.

Limber limbs lift as wafting waves
in a most boisterous crowd.

Sporting orange and yellow jackets,
seasonal tree dressers flippantly flap
raising bold banners skyward.

High winds declare victory,
the winning weather
for this brand-new autumn day.

another gorgeous photograph!!

Jan,

“Leaves like fans in a stadium
rise and fall clapping wildly.”

I love it…both the photo and the vivid poem set us
right in the most beautiful part of autumn.

Many thanks!
