It Always Happens

Raindrops,
growling weather,
frantic woman dashing
without an umbrella from parking lot to office door,
her new high heels splashing;
reaching shelter.
Rain stops.

I can't remember what year I made my first poetry post on The Peaceful Pub, but I have been around quite a while. In June 2015, I became a quadriplegic, which is why I have not been around for some time. I am now using voice recognition software called Dragon Naturally Speaking in order to post. I thank God that I still have my brain and my voice. To quote from Monty Python's Holy Grail, "I'm not dead yet!"
