Fallen Before the Cross

When I say I am a Christian, it is:
– a confession –
of who and what I was and am.
– an admission –
that I am guilty and have no defense.
– an acknowledgment –
that someone else has paid the penalty
which should have fallen on me.
– and a thanks –
that salvation has a gift card and not a price tag,
for I would never be able to buy it.

  1. Thank you Sarah. It is at Easter that I feel most blessed indeed.

Thank you Dee. Each of us must come before the Cross in our fallen state to receive the most precious gift ever given.
