Holding

Poetry

An accepting place

Holding each emotion

In check when I cannot

fathom all this world whirls

We turn

We turn

Me

Poetry

In a dance

All our own

  1. It is better to grapple with words than to wrestle with busy days. Words possess manners and modes and orderly ways; even unique and original combinations have comforting feelings of familiarity. Busy days are chaotic and untidy and often leave a spinning head with the question “Now what was that about?”. Much better to dance! Enjoy your spring break.

Poetry has magic powers I think — it inspires, it releases, it defines, clarifies, comforts and so much more. I think you capture its potential so beautifully in this poem. Thank you for sharing.

    Much enjoyed!
