An Age of Beauty

An Age of Beauty

For the thousandth time,
I contemplate the purity
and clarity of a pristine design.

I know not which is more beautiful—
seconds, minutes, or hours
in a Saturday.

  1. Hi Jan

What truth your opening stanza invokes –

    For the thousandth time,
    I contemplate the purity
and clarity of a pristine design.

Over and over again, as humans we are mesmerized by the natural gifts of God’s world. It is intricate and yet simple, spiritual and yet functional. All done with grace and wonder. Your poem captures this idea as well as that gorgeous picture. I enjoyed this so much. Thank you for sharing!

    My best
