Spring crawls tree branches
depositing – small green eggs
hatch out baby leaves

  1. Hi Michael

Very clever and lovely analogy. You make the process vivid and tangible — I , too, am ready for those “hatchings”. Here in the high desert of Southern California, it is the buds on the Cherry and dogwood trees.

    My best

  2. Thank you Wendy. Around here in southern Indiana, it is dogwoods and redbuds for white and red – and, of course, green on everything.
