Window Watching

Two young children stood still
by a window to watch heavy rain.

One spoke sympathetically,
“Ooh, I feel sorry for the person
who has to walk home today.
What will they do in all this?”

The other seriously exclaimed,
“Oh, no, let’s worry about God.
Look how much He’s crying.”

This is an oldie, Sarah. Oh, to think of His crying sessions since the writing of this poem years ago. There’s much to cause worldwide crying spells these days! (((OurWorld)))

I agree, Jan.
Much for him to cry about.
Usually something us humans have done, unfortunately.

Enjoyed reading.
take care,
Kerri
