Now

It is a two-hands-embrace-the-cup kind of day,
time for slow-sipping and lighthearted thinking,
time for ease-of-breeze planning and dreaming.

I sip,
contemplate,
recognize,
realize,
recall,
sigh.

I sip,
know,
hope,
release,
remember,
cope,
and sigh.

Sip.

Celebrate. Appreciate. Celebrate. Appreciate.
It is a two-hands-embrace-the-cup kind of day.
Tomorrow today’s memories shall harbor my heart.

The arrival of spring, even on a late date, reminds me
time keeps no tardies as a bloom arrives just in time.

  1. Jan,

I love each and every line,
and all the joy and faith that lives
    within and between them.

    It’s a Bon Mots sort of day…

    Our latest addition:

“time for slow-sipping and lighthearted thinking,”

    Thank you!!

  2. Hey, Sarah,

Happy Thursday in May—a busy time in a teacher’s life as we wrap up the finalization of another 180-day cycle of learning. We have only 20 days left. Yes, we are counting. haha Thank you for appreciating this old one. It still has a voice. You know–I have to choose lighter thoughts so the heaviness of our world won’t settle in & take root. We have to choose a perspective with light’s influence. Thanks for reading & commenting.
