Petaled beauties
Dressed in velvet layers
Display magnificent colors
In May’s majestical flower gardens
Sweet perfume permeates warm air
Invites us to get close
For more sweetness

Life is good. Often we choose to look through that lens, and we all know that sometimes the lens will get foggy. What do we do to balance it all when that happens? We redirect our perspectives to see life's natural blessings, daily occurrences right in front of us. The gratitude list, often including the simplest things, will line up for us just like my group of second graders lines up for lunch or recess. We're all preparing for what's next. Some of my life tags are: Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Elementary Teacher, Writer/Poet, Jam Maker, Gardener of sorts (flowers), and Nature Photographer. Enjoy this adventurous day.
