  1. SMZ,
Oh, what a perfect poem to help make a perfect day. The mood in this draws the reader closer. I want to see those lashes! Once would satisfy my curiosity–maybe. I’d probably wish to see them twice. This was grand as September steps our way in the season’s exchange. Enjoyed this immensely.

  2. Hi Sarah

Indeed, “A glorious Day” and a glorious poem!

    the wind weaves tales
    with lithe trees,
    history to feed on

Love that opening and the mysterious possibility of what tales the wind could weave, and those trees are the guardians of and witnesses to history. And the presence of the doe and fawn in your poem only add to the beauty and the spiritual serenity of this piece. It is truly nature’s study of awakened passion. Thank you for sharing this piece, I was there and enjoyed every corner and nuance of this day.

    Take care
    Wendy
